Where Can I Put My Glass Down? (2024)
On grief before death.
How does one deal with the time between dying and death? What does it mean to have to grief the living?
I have been anticipating the passing of my loved ones for years, and this limbo has influenced how I approach the inevitable. This project started as an exploration of coping mechanisms, inspired by how I would let the stars carry my grief for me when I was younger. But as I have grown older, I cannot rely on them to bear this weight anymore. Where can I put my glass down? With this project I attempt to visualise what it feels like to have to grief the living. Soft, harsh but slow nonetheless.
